Young Medicare Mental Health Centre has launched a new online Community Services Directory to help people in Young and the wider Hilltops community find local services and supports more easily.
The directory brings together information about a broad range of services available across the community, including mental health and wellbeing, housing and homelessness, domestic and family violence, family and parenting support, financial and welfare assistance, health services, legal support, disability services, alcohol and other drug support, and local community groups.
The directory is designed to be a simple and accessible starting point for people looking for support for themselves, their family, someone they care about, or someone they are working with.
The Young Community Services Directory is now available at www.youngmmhc.gph.org.au/directory.
Community members, service providers and local organisations are encouraged to explore the directory and provide feedback.
Young Medicare Mental Health Centre is also inviting services and organisations that would like to be included in the directory to get in touch.
As this is a new resource, feedback is welcomed to help ensure the directory remains useful, accurate and easy to navigate. This may include suggested updates, services that may be missing, or general feedback about how the directory could be improved.

Young Medicare Mental Health Centre provides free, walk-in mental health support for people aged 16 and over. The centre is located in Young and is available to support people experiencing distress or needing mental health and wellbeing support, with no referral required.
