The Young Cherrypickers are having a great season, but some small hitches here and there have resulted in the Club losing a bit of momentum as the deciding half of the competition begins.
The Cherrypickers started hot off the press with a 34 – 28 win against South City Bulls holding the Ray White challenge cup, before hitting an early wall against Temora in Round 2, losing 36 – 22.
Young were back in top form against Junee at home in Round 3, sending Junee packing 36 – 26, before drawing Tumut in Round 4 28 – 28.
The Cherries were able to outdo a strong Cootamundra side in Round 5, 38 – 22, but faced yet another draw to top-of-the-table Gundagai in Round 6, 18 – 18.
Young seems to have a pattern this season of winning, then losing/drawing, so consistency is key as the second half of the season begins this week.

Round 15 (August 15) – Gundagai Tigers at Alfred Oval
Round 16 (August 22) – Wagga Kangaroos at Alfred Oval
