Golf Report- 22nd February.

Ladies Golf:
On Saturday the Ladies played a single stableford that was won by Trish Miller with 41 points and she won 3 balls. The runner up was Leanne Slater (2 balls) with 38 points from Estelle Roberts (1 ball) with 37 points. The PH Golf NTP on the 17th was won by Liz Harding. Balls went down to 35 points on a countback and there were 16 players.

Golf:
The Saturday event for men was a 4BBB Stableford sponsored by Allan Moore, Grant Harding and Elegant Timber Shutters and Blinds. The winners were Mark Crutcher and Phillip Oliver with 51 points. Runners up were Craig Taylor and Christopher Davidson with 48 points and Ian Tierney had the best individual score with 42 points.

The Watson Toyota NTP’s were won by Mark Crutcher on the 7th and Aaron Moloney on the 17th. The Pro Pin on the 7th was won by Mark Crutcher and he received a voucher for $75. The ARMA Fabrications Eagles Nest Jackpot on the 12th was not won and jackpots to $60 next week.

The Terry Brothers Carpet Court secret birdie hole was the 8th hole and it won by Barry Gaal on a card draw. The Ian Page card draw was won by Don Cruikshank. The Salami Brothers Pizza award was won by Terry Shipp. Balls went down to 34 individual points on a countback and there were 74 players.

Saturday 28th February is the Oliver Memorial Day. Saturday 7th March and Sunday 8th March are rounds 1 & 2 of the Terry Brothers Carpet Court 2026 Mens Championships. Saturday 14th March- Cooltec Refrigeration & Air Conditioning March Monthly Medals and Round 3 of the Championships. Sunday 15th March- the final round of the Terry Brothers Carpet Court 2026 Mens Championships.

The Wednesday Medley was won by Karen Hamilton-Gibbs with 41 points on a countback and she won 14 balls. Runner up was Ben Baker (12 balls) with 41 points from Amber Roles (9 balls) with 40 points. Fourth was Spade McCormick (6 balls) with 38 points on a countback from Col Miller (4 balls) and Craig Webber (2 balls).

The Pro Pin was won by Aaryn Murfitt and he received a voucher for $46. Balls went down to 31 points on a countback and there were 76 players.

Friday was the annual Triple 0 Emergency Services charity day. A strong field of 123 players had a great day and helped raise funds for local charities. The winners on the day with 52.5 nett were Jamie Canellis, Phillip Oliver, Mark Crutcher and Sam Woods. Congratulations to Ryan Terry and Aaron Moloney for the outstanding job they did in organising the day. The Friday medley will return this week.

The WD Quality Cuts Sunday single stableford was won by Beau Elsley with 39 points and he won 8 balls. Runner up was Spud Smithers (6 balls) with 38 points on a countback from Jim Brewster (5 balls), Grant Meacham (4 balls) and Zac Sell (3 balls).

The Watson Toyota secret birdie jackpot of $60 was won by Steve Connelly and next week it resets to $30. The Andrew Sabidussi $300 “Hole in One” is still waiting to be won. Spud Smithers won the Pro Pin and received a voucher for $38. Balls went down to 33 points on a countback and there were 43 players.

The Social Club played a Texas Ambrose that was sponsored by Peter Sykes and Shannon Genge. The event was won by Darren and Jono Eastman with 53 nett. Runner up were Anthony Webb and John Jones with 54.5 nett from Simon Roberts and Boof Hurcum with 58 nett. There were 18 players.

Next week the Social Club are on tour and there won’t be a competition until the following Sunday the 8th March. Players are reminded to be at the clubhouse by 6.45am to catch the bus.
